Vascular Doppler Sonography

Course Description:

This course provides comprehensive training in vascular Doppler sonography, focusing on the evaluation of arterial and venous systems throughout the body. Participants will learn to perform duplex and spectral Doppler studies, assess blood flow, detect stenosis, thrombosis, and other vascular pathologies, and interpret hemodynamic findings. The curriculum emphasizes scanning protocols, Doppler physics, waveform analysis, and accurate documentation to support clinical diagnosis and patient management. Hands-on sessions ensure proficiency in performing both routine and advanced vascular studies safely and effectively.

Learning Outcomes:

• By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
• Perform high-quality vascular Doppler examinations using standardized protocols.
• Evaluate arterial and venous blood flow in the extremities, neck, and abdomen.
• Detect and assess vascular pathologies such as stenosis, occlusion, aneurysm, and thrombosis.
• Analyze Doppler waveforms and interpret hemodynamic data accurately.
• Generate professional, clinically relevant ultrasound reports while maintaining patient safety and quality assurance.
