
Course Description:
This specialized course provides comprehensive training in neurosonology for neonates and infants. Participants will learn to perform cranial ultrasound examinations, evaluate normal brain anatomy, and detect common neurological pathologies such as hemorrhage, hydrocephalus, periventricular leukomalacia, and congenital anomalies. The curriculum emphasizes standardized scanning techniques through the anterior fontanelle and other acoustic windows, Doppler assessment of cerebral blood flow, and accurate interpretation of findings. Hands-on sessions ensure proficiency in imaging, documentation, and reporting to support clinical decision-making in neonatal care.
