Breast Ultrasound
Course Description:
This course provides comprehensive training in breast ultrasound, equipping participants with the skills to evaluate normal and abnormal breast tissue. Learners will gain expertise in detecting masses, cysts, calcifications, and other breast pathologies, as well as performing Doppler assessment for vascularity. The curriculum emphasizes standardized scanning protocols, image optimization, and ultrasound-guided procedures such as biopsies and cyst aspirations. Hands-on sessions ensure proficiency in accurate imaging, interpretation, and reporting to support clinical diagnosis and patient care.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations using standardized protocols.
- Identify normal anatomy and detect common breast pathologies such as masses, cysts, and calcifications.
- Utilize Doppler imaging to assess vascularity and lesion characteristics.
- Perform ultrasound-guided procedures safely and accurately.
